There are already millions of words written about the setting and
achieving of your goal, which are practiced by millions of people as well.
But still, most of the goals created are not fulfilled. Here are some
significant tips that will help you accomplish better the goals that you

1) Your goals should be original.
This doesn’t mean that such goals need not to be somehow similar or same
as the other goals of other individuals. It just means that you should have
your own goal, not a second hand one. Many people are practicing to have
their goals based from the expectation and hopes of their cultural norms,
society, parents and teachers. This results to cases that wherein you cannot
hold such goals for long periods of times. Remember that setting a goal
truly means that you should earn fulfilment and happiness as you
accomplish it.
Practice setting goals that are originally yours, not that assumed or
inherited. If it is not just from you, what will be the meaning of it?
Accomplishing them will not give you that happiness and fulfilment in life.

2)Your goals should be inspirational.
Your passion must represent the kind of goals that you have. It should not
be any promise or simple wants that you want. It must be something that
will drive you to strive harder and be fulfilled in the end as you obtained it.
Passion is that something which pushes you to do whatever it takes to have
your goals. It keeps you on the track. It strengthens your concentration and
motivates you. It is the passion that inspires you and leads you to the right
way going to your desired goal.

3)Your goals should be harmonious in nature.
All your goals must be according to your perspectives and dreams in life.
They must not contradict one another.
Do them one at a time since working with them simultaneously will not
help you at all, leaving your stresses out of your way.
Recognize who and what you are. Base from it the set of activities and goals
that you will have.

4)The goals of you must be realistic in nature.
The goals that you will be setting must be accomplishable within a lifetime
Realistic goal doesn’t mean that you must have the usual goal of everybody.
There are goals sometimes which seem unachievable for everybody but
determined persons were able to do so, such as building a personal
computer at home, attempting to soar high a bicycle using motor and
wings. These goals are attainable and do not let anybody set a limit for you.

5)Have idealistic goals.
The goals of you must be based from your personal ideas and from who and
what you are as of today. They should be created based from the different
aspects of you, such as the environmental and physical, relationships and
emotional, financial and material, ethical and spiritual, and educational
and mental aspects.
Set the goals in accordance to your ideals in life. In this way, you can have a
happy and satisfying result. On the other hand, if you will be having the
unrealistic ones, there’s a great chance that you will end up getting
unsatisfied and bored.

6)Make your goals specific.
You must have a specific goal in order for you to be able to do the right
attack towards it. If you want to be a rich person, specify how you will
consider yourself as a rich person.

7)Your goals should be flexible.
Several individuals miss the chances of gaining their goals because their
concentration with those goals is too extreme and constricted to recognize
better goals as they go.
Ensure that you will concentrate in achieving your goal and not with the
method or ways on how you can have it.

8)You must visualize your goals.
Visualizing your goals in life will help you a lot and will serve as your
motivation through the way. Imagining them makes them more realistic
and believable, thus ending up in energizing you and inspiring you to strive
harder in obtaining them.

9) You should affirm your goals.
You must believe in yourself that the goal that you have is attainable and let
everyone know about it so they can contribute to your achievement
process. Keep it in your mind that if you will not believe in your goal, then
you can never have it. If you will not have passion for it, then you can never
attain success. You must be that someone to speak about your goal.

10) Have a timely set of goals.
It is in time and space where everything exists. Set specific period of time
for the goals to become true or you spend lots of your time in achieving
only one and will never have any fulfilment at all.

11) You must have a list of all the goals that you want to achieve.
It has been proven through studies that people who jot down their goals
have higher ability of accomplishing their tasks rather than those who only
list such goals in their minds. People who don’t have a list of their goals are
more likely to withdraw from the achievement process.
But still there are some individuals who manage to set and achieve their
goals successfully, even without writing them down. Do not pretend that 9
you are one of those. It is much better to write them down since it is not
guaranteed that you are still going to remember all the goals that you have

When going for a walk on the beach it could be very relaxing if you want it to be. Water is always a good way to get some relaxation. Just picture it in your head walking alone the beach, no one around just you and the big blue sky.

Then you decide to sit down so that you can feel the water hitting the bottoms of your feet. Now layback and look up to the sky just listen you hear nothing but the sounds of the water and the birds in the air this is so peaceful what a wonderful way to relax.

If that don’t work why not try a nice hot bath, with some bubbles and some floating candles. This is another good way of relaxing your hurting body cause by having too much stress. All you need to do is to go and draw you some warm water, put some bubbles in your water. You have to put enough to make bubbles in your water.

Then get in lighting your floating candles hopefully you got the candles that smell they are always nice to have. Then don’t for get to put on some nice soft music to enhance the mood some. You will want to stay in there are long as you want to help you to relax,

Going for a nice long walk will help you to be able to clear your head. By walking, you are using the energy that you are using to worry about things and turning it into energy to walk with. Having your mind feel of stress, you will be able to have energy to do what you have to do in order to think clearly to be able to do what has to be done.

Does this always work? Does this always work no. there are many different things that you can do to try to relax these was just a few that you might want to try. You will have to learn some things on your own. No one can tell you want to do to relax it all depends on you and your body.

Why isn’t stress good for you? Stress is never a good thing for you to have on your body. It will slowly take in the control and make you have illness that you don’t want to have.

Stress can cause you to have things like high blood pressure, out of control cholesterol, it may cause you to have a stroke or even a heart attack, as well as make you go into a depression. Therefore, you need to try to help yourself to learn to get some relief of the ongoing stress in your life.

Some of the things it can cause would be like heart trouble, strokes, high blood pressure, cholesterol problems, it can as make you go into a deep desertion which none of these things are not good for any ones health. So being stress free as much as possible would be healthier for you and your body.

What can I do to help me to relax so I don’t have to worry about stress? There isn’t any way to tell someone how to relax. Only you know your body and its needs in order to relax. Teaching yourself to relax is hard on everyone but you can do it, it may not come over night. Nevertheless, it can be done, for some of us it might take a few different tries but you will learn a way to relax.

You can always learn to do yoga this is an excise that will help you to control your thinking ability. Yoga is a self-teaching class, you can take a yoga class if you wish, but you don’t have to do this all you would have to do is go to the your local library and check out some information that they might have on learning yoga.

Yoga is an excellent way to relax. When learning you’re yoga, you will also learn how to mediate as well this will help you to be able to clear your mind of everything. How relaxing this sounds already.

Aromatherapy is also good for you when wanting to relax. There are so many ways to use aromatherapy. You can visit your local mall. In the mall, there are stores that deal with nothing but aromatherapy. These are candles, insects, things that have an odor that will help you to relax. Some fresh air with some of these aroma will do the treat on most of us.

Choose a SMART Goal

Setting goals is the foundation of visualization. If you don’t have things you want to accomplish, then there’s no reason to create imageries for anything. So, you need to start by deciding what you want to achieve. SMART stands for specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. When your goals don’t have these characteristics, you are just emotional.

Specific means that the goal is clearly spelled out and not vague, while measurable means that there are benchmarks and milestones that indicate the achievement of the target. Achievable means that the goal is realistic, while relevant means that the target is connected to meaningfulness. Finally, time-bound means that you intend to achieve the goal within a specific period.

Envision it in Detail

After choosing your target, the next step involves creating imaginations around the goal. Imagine yourself performing and achieving the goal. If your dream is to become a medical doctor, imagine yourself treating people and helping them to recover from pains and diseases. In the same way, if your target is to learn how to play the piano, imagine yourself dazzling a crowd with your skills.

However, don’t just be fixated at the end. Begin by thinking about the process of achieving your target. For example, think about the training process and how you’ll choose to endure all the difficulties that might come during the period. Determine not to quit regardless of the challenges that come your way while envisioning the process.

Employ all your Senses

All your senses have to be involved during visualization. You will engage your sense of smell, sight, sound, taste, and feel. What will you be wearing on your graduation day? How will it feel on your body? What kind of food will be available on that day? Your mind has to capture all these details and engage your senses to make them as real as possible.

When your thoughts have been able to capture the details and translate them to your senses, you will keep working hard to ensure that it comes to pass. You’ll want to get to the finishing because you want to have an actual experience of your imagination. Therefore, you will buckle down and get to work because you have dreams to achieve.

You can aid your imagery by writing a story of your success. Emily Cook employs this approach. Investigators have discovered that people who write out their goals have a higher chance to achieve them than individuals who don’t. You don’t have to write it down in a book. Instead, you can record it as audio. Then play it to yourself at different times. Playing it to yourself multiple times will help you to encode the words in your brain, helping you to form images of it easily.

Scientists have found that various parts of your brain are activated when you synthesize an experience by using multiple senses. The resultant effect of this activation is a powerful visualization and more productivity. So, you will be boosting your chances of creating images that will spur you to success when you write and record your expectations and read or listen to them repeatedly.

Be Flexible

It’s always good to have multiple roadmaps in life to avoid being stranded. You cannot afford to be rigid because things don’t always happen exactly as you want them. So, while thinking about a particular target and how you can achieve it, you should also think of similar alternatives in case things didn’t turn out the way you planned them.

For example, if you’re trying to learn the piano, you can see learning the guitar as another alternative in case you find the going too tough. Indeed, this isn’t an option you should plan to exercise. However, it will come in handy in case you had to seek a different option. There’s no point sticking with something if the best you can be at it is an average performer.

Identify Inner Obstacles

After writing down your goal and creating imaginations of it, it’s crucial that you identify the likely challenges that can frustrate your effort. You need to start from the internal factors such as your confidence, self-esteem, and motivation. Whether you realize it or not, you have control over these things. No one can shatter your confidence or reduce your self-esteem if you don’t allow them. In the same way, no one can make you lose the motivation and desire to achieve your dreams if you don’t empower them to that extent in your life.

There will always be people who will discourage you regardless of what you want to achieve. You should think about the likely criticisms that can be levied against your targets beforehand. Provide reasonable and logical responses to those allegations before anyone comes up with them. You should be your own greatest critic to ensure that you will be able to stand against the scorching words of destructive critics.

Identify External Obstacles

You don’t have only internal issues to contend with whenever you are trying to accomplish a target. There are also external factors that can derail your ambition. Funding can be a critical factor that can make it impossible for you to achieve some things. You should plan for it as you think about how you will reach your destination.

You can always ask people you know who can give you tips regarding how you can get money to finance your dreams. You might be surprised to find out that there are opportunities such as grants that can make things easier. Don’t be a lone-ranger because it makes you susceptible to being stranded.

Implement Intentions

Whenever you’re trying to achieve a goal, there will always be doubts rising in your heart. It only shows that you are a human being. However, you shouldn’t let anything stop you. The last phase of visualization is the implementation of your intentions. Start with the simple things first.

You might need to talk to an experienced person first before you get started. You need to be careful when trying to talk to people because some conversations with some people can drain out all your energy and motivation. It’s always better to speak to people who are either doing what you want to do or have succeeded in it.
